The Storyline of the Drama

The story is typical but its splendid production and cast crew have made it awesome. Though it is not possible to cover everything in a short excerpt let’s have a summary of the plot. The main hero is Farhad, who is a bit careless and not interested in studies at all. He failed in exams and his father rebukes him. He tries to get some work to earn bread and butter. In organizing a wedding event he sees MAHI and falls in love with her.

MAHI is a pretty girl belonging to a rich family, she is joyous and full of life. She assumes Farhaad is a guest coming from abroad, and gives him a lot of privileges but later on, she comes to know that Farhaad is not that person.

Farhad confesses his love to MAHI but she restricts him and refuses, but later on, she also falls in love with Farhad. Sikandar’s love story is another love story running side by side in the drama serial. He is in love with a girl whose profession is not considered respectable in society. For this reason, her mother refuses the girl, but Sikander still has deep feelings for her and goes to a shrine to pray for the confluence with his beloved one.

On that shrine, there is another important character Baba JI.  Another amazing thing is that MAHI got married to Sikander’s younger brother, he also falls in love with MAHI, fortunately, he gets married to her but unfortunately, he does not spend his life with MAHI. There are a lot of twists in the story and the present is beautifully linked with the past.

The Theme of Divine Love

The drama depicts some amazing ideas that are something different from the usual stories. spiritual- romance is shown in the story. The connection between a Human being and ALLAH Almighty via love is exquisitely presented in the drama. How a man gets a strong bond with ALLAH after being rejected by a person, he falls in love with, is presented in the drama serial.

It is said that time repeats itself and the same is shown in KHUDA AUR MOHABBAT, Sikander’s mother rejected a person who was in love with her just because he was not according to her status, and later her own son falls in love with a girl who was not according to their reputation and status.

Baba Ji becomes a holy person and sits on a shrine because of a lady and later that lady’s son used to come to the same shrine. She deprived Baba Ji of her love and his younger son was unable to spend his life with his love though he got married to her.

All these things and a lot of others are the reason for bringing curiosity to the audience. Every mind is thinking about what will happen next. The drama is a hot topic nowadays and people wait desperately for the next episode. The drama is full of emotions, love, spirituality anger, and power.
