Make Donuts at Home

Donut is one of the favorite cookies for everyone, especially kids who love it. We can make fresh donuts at home with a different flavors. These can be of coconut, simple, chocolate flavor, etc. Today we are going to make chocolate topping donuts. It’s very easy and yum yum 😋 🍩.


1.  Dry yeast = 25 ounces (2 envelops)

2. Warm water =1/4 cups

3. White sugar =1/2 cup

4. Lukewarm milk=1 ½ cups

5.  Eggs= 2

6. Salt=1 teaspoon

7. All-purpose floor= 4 cups

8.  Butter= 1/3 cups

For glaze

1. Whole milk =1/4 cup

2. Sugar= 2 cups

3. Vanilla extract= ½ teaspoon

4. Chocolate powder= 4 tsp

Making of Donuts

  1. Add yeast to warm water and wait until it becomes foamy.
  2. In another bowl, pour milk, sugar, eggs, salt, and two cups of flour in the yeast mixture. Mix them all with a wooden spoon. Now beat it and make perfect dough until it does not stick with the bowl.  Grease the bowl and put the smooth dough in it. Cover the bowl properly and place it in a warm place for a few hours until it rises.
  3. Now roll out the dough to ½ inch thickness and cut it in a round shape from inside with the help of a donut cutter or with any round-shaped little lid. Cover it again and let it sit out to rise.
  4. Making of chocolaty glaze: Add chocolate powder, vanilla extract, and sugar to warm milk and stir until it becomes thick and smooth. Set it aside.

  5. Take a saucepan and melt butter in it. Dip the donuts in a saucepan one by one. Deep fry until it becomes golden brown and rises up to the surface. Remove from heat and drain them all.
  6.  Dip hot donuts in to glaze and set out into the tray.
  7.  To give coconut flavor, garnish it with coconut powder or colorful sugar strands.
